What can I say about Jolana and The Photography Experience that hasn’t already been said? Jolana captured our Adventure Elopement on the West Coast on the rainy Oregon Coast. From start to finish we had an absolutely incredible experience.
Jolana scouted out locations in advance and helped us through every little detail, big or small. She made sure we stopped for good food along the way and were comfortable all day. It’s always a bit awkward posing, but we felt so at ease getting married and taking photos at the beach. Truly like hanging out with long time friends.
Our photos came out stunning. We spent an afternoon combing through the online gallery, wishing we could display each and every one in our home. Somehow, these photos captured our spirits and love for each other, and I can’t imagine anything better.
Anyone would be lucky to work with Jolana, I’d do it all again in a heart beat no matter the cost!

I’m Jolana!
Your Photographer & Experience Creator.
And my life goal is to Eat, Hike, and Photograph my way around the world.
At my core, I’m a lover of human connection. I’m a people-pleaser in the best way, always hungry, slightly awkward, and very willing to make a fool of myself if it breaks an uncomfortable silence. I’m happiest somewhere outdoors, doing something just outside my comfort zone, camera in hand. I don’t believe you need to fit a specific mold to be worthy of being photographed. I believe you just need to be you — messy, happy, nervous, awkward… real!
The reason I do this work is simple: I want people to feel safe, seen, and completely unjudged being themselves. In a world that feels increasingly focused on trends, perfection, and consuming more instead of feeling more, I’m drawn to experiences that actually mean something. I’ll choose a hole-in-the-wall restaurant over a five-star one any day, and I’d rather experience a place the way locals do than check off tourist boxes. I don’t chase trends — I chase connection.

The Photography Experience is available to travel worldwide for elopements and weddings, with home bases in New York, Europe, Mexico, and India!
