Originally from the Czech Republic with a constant bug to travel and experience new cultures, Jolana brings a global heart and a deeply personal mission to everything she does. She’s the owner of The Photography Experience, and her work has been internationally recognized for capturing connection, confidence, and emotion. As the co-founder of the Breast Cancer Confidence Project, Jolana has made it her life’s work to help women reclaim their bodies, rewrite their stories, and see themselves in a new, empowered light.
At this retreat, Jolana will guide you through a transformative boudoir photography experience, as well as intimate self-love conversations focused on body image and confidence—especially as we move through the evolving stages of womanhood. Eleni is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and a Sexual Wellness and Intimacy Coach for women.
She works with women with low libido and helps them remove the blocks to their sexual desire so they can experience more joy and pleasure in their intimate relationship. Motherhood is one of the biggest identity shifts in a woman’s life. This shift comes with lots of joy and fulfillment, but also with what seems like the loss of a part of us that once was something more and that often has a huge impact on our connection to our sexuality and our sexual desire.
At this retreat, Eleni will lead a Sexual Wellness and Intimacy Workshop. This will be a space to discuss the female experience of motherhood and explore ways to reconnect to our sexual selves.

At this retreat, she’ll be guiding three signature experiences: an evening movement session to help you exhale the week and settle into rest, a hands-on nutrition class where we will prep and enjoy a meal together, and an educational session that breaks down what to expect when you are expecting menopause. - An hour walk through nature, focusing on the five senses, and channeling our inner child. Collect items to use for crafting session

12:40 PM | Breakout 1-on-1 Sessions (20 minutes each)
- Each participant has the opportunity to do 2 1-on-1 sessions with a facilitator of their choosing. Each session will be 20 minutes long. Sign-ups will be done ahead of time. Each facilitator will do 5 sessions total.
12:40 PM | Crafting as Therapy – A Hands-On Healing Session
- A mindful, creative activity to channel emotions and embrace self-expression, happening while not in a breakout session.

- A final circle to celebrate transformations, share takeaways, and discuss how to carry this experience forward.

What are the sleeping arrangements?
We’re staying in a beautiful, cozy home in the Catskill Mountains with bunk-bed style accommodations. Think summer camp energy—but way more luxurious (and no one’s making you do dishes). Expect late-night chats, shared laughs, and your own comfy space. There are 2 full bathrooms available in the house, with an additional 3rd full bathroom available steps away in the yoga room.
Are all meals covered?
All meals except one are covered! On Saturday night, we’ll go out to a local restaurant as a group. We’ll treat you to shared appetizers, and you’ll cover your own entrée + drinks if you’d like them.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We’ve got you. You’ll fill out a short form before the retreat so we can accommodate any dietary needs, preferences, or allergies with love and care.
Do my kids have to be of a certain age for me to Join?
No! This is open to moms in all stages of their lives. Whether you still have kiddos running around in diapers, or are an empty nester, this retreat is for you!
I don’t know anyone going. Will I feel awkward?
Not for long. This retreat is intentionally intimate (just 11 attendees) and carefully crafted to help you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. You’ll leave with connections—and friendships—you didn’t know you needed.
Can I come late or leave early if I have other obligations?
Life happens! While we hope you’ll be able to experience the full retreat, we understand that Friday arrival may be tricky. That evening is designed to be more casual so latecomers won’t miss any of the core programming.
Do I need to have experience with boudoir or feel confident in front of a camera?
Not at all! Most women who join us have never done anything like this before. You’ll be fully guided through each pose during your Confidence Portrait Experience—no modeling skills required. And you’ll be surrounded by women cheering you on the whole way. It’s about confidence, not perfection.
What should I wear for the boudoir photos?
Whatever makes you feel good. That might be lingerie, a cozy robe, a tank and undies, or even a favorite oversized sweater. You’ll get prep tips before the retreat, and we’ll help you choose what feels most empowering once you’re here.

Every woman featured below is a mom—of different ages, shapes, sizes, and seasons of life. None of them are models. All of them showed up with nerves. And every single one left feeling powerful, beautiful, and fully seen. These images are proof that you don’t need to change a thing about yourself to be worthy of celebration.
Hello there, Beautiful Soul!
I’m Jolana! I am the Owner of The PHOTOGRAPHY Experience
And my life goal is to Eat, Hike, and Photograph my way around the world, all while empowering everyone I meet… not necessarily in that order :P!

Let me start off by saying that I’m a huge goof. I love anything food and travel related, am a little too sarcastic for my own good, and am a huge optimist. I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie: Give me heights, rock climbing, new experiences, crazy local foods, and a camera to capture it all with. Outside of photography, I am a writer, and am actually a published author for a book of poems I created with a close friend of mine titled….you ready for this? “Tales from the Toilet: A collection of Poems.” Yes, you read that right. I am also currently working on a novel!
I am a sucker for Human Connection. I truly believe that is our purpose here on this planet, and my purpose is to capture it. To capture those awe-inspiring moments, to remind us how we felt in a specific moment of time, and to show others the emotions we cannot express otherwise.
I also believe it is up to us to help preserve this beautiful planet of ours, and to soak in all the wonders this planet has to offer. Getting to combine these two things… well… I couldn’t ask for a better job <3
